Roch SA has started oil production from a well drilled to appraise its 2008 San Martin discovery in Tierra del Fuego and cased a second appraisal as a possible producer. According to Crown Point Energy Inc., a 51.56% interest holder based in Calgary, the SM a-1002 appraisal well started producing on Aug. 15 from the Jurassic Tobifera formation.
