CNX Resources Corp., Pittsburgh, said it remediated the Shaw 1G well in Washington Township, Westmoreland County, Pa., “to arrest a subsurface flow of gas.” The operator responded to a pressure anomaly observed while it was hydraulically fracturing the Utica shale well during the last week of January.
