Chevron Phillips Chemical Co. LP, a joint venture of Chevron Corp. and Phillips 66, has completed construction of a 1.5 million-tonne/year ethane cracker at the combine’s Cedar Bayou facility in Baytown, Tex., as part of the second phase of its previously announced $6-billion US Gulf Coast petrochemical project.
