EIA: US crude stockpiles increase 1.2 million bbl
US crude oil inventories, excluding the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, increased 1.2 million bbl for the week ended June 29, according to US Energy Information Administration data. EIA released the Weekly Petroleum Status Report a day later than normal because of the US Independence Day holiday on July 4. Source: News
Brookfield to buy gas gathering, processing units from Enbridge
Brookfield Infrastructure and its institutional partners have agreed to acquire from Enbridge Inc., Calgary, Enbridge’s Canadian natural gas gathering and processing business in the Montney, Peace River Arch, Horn River, and Liard basins in British Columbia and Alberta for $4.31 billion (Can.) in cash. MARKET WATCH: Oil prices gain before US Independence Day holiday
The light, sweet crude oil contract for August delivery gained slightly to settle above $74/bbl on July 3 while Brent crude oil for September delivery gained modestly in London to remain above $77/bbl. US markets were closed July 4 for the Independence Day holiday. Source: News

Troll Phase 3 development plan filed
Equinor and partners have submitted the development and operation plan (PDO) for Phase 3 of giant Troll oil and gas field in the Norwegian North Sea.
