India extends open-acreage bid round

India’s Directorate General of Hydrocarbons has extended into May 2 the bidding under its open acreage licensing program, which opened Jan. 18. The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas unit gave no reason for the extension.  Source: News

Oil Search operations slowly coming back on line after quake

Sydney and Port Moresby producer Oil Search Ltd. expects its Gobe oil and gas processing facilities and export pipeline in the Papua New Guinea southern highlands to be back on stream in the next few days. The plant was mostly left undamaged by the recent earthquake. Source: News
